Bring the beauty of nature into your home with this White Oak Leaf Ornament. A real white oak leaf is impressed into a slab of moist porcelain, leaving a fine, fossil-like impression in the clay. The ornament is carefully hand-cut from the clay and allowed to dry. After the oak ornament is kiln fired once, the leaf impression is colored with underglazes, and the surface of the ornament is glazed with a translucent, food-safe glaze. The plate is then fired a second time to over 2000 degrees F to ensure long-lasting strength and beauty. Read more about our process here.
