Celebrate the spirit of the holidays with this set of 4 handmade star ornaments. Each star is carefully cut out of a slab of porcelain clay. While the clay is still moist, the words "Peace", "Love", "Joy" and "Hope" are impressed into the four stars. After the ornaments are kiln fired once, the decorative words are hand-colored with underglaze, and the whole ornament is coated in a protective clear glaze. The ornaments are then fired a second time to over 2000oF producing the final decorations. Read more about our process here.
The white star ornaments are currently available with 4 word colors: red, yellow, green or blue. Our glazes are non-toxic and lead-free. If you would like the ornaments glazed in a color not listed here, please contact Blue Willow Studio. We are always happy to work with you to create the perfect piece for your project!
Due to the nature of our tile making process, color and size will vary, adding character and interest to your final project. Each piece is truly unique!
