Bring a bit of nature to your table with this beautiful and unique leaf impression plate. The plate is hand-formed from a single slab of porcelain clay. While the clay is moist, a real leaf is impressed into the face of the plate, leaving a pattern of fine, fossil-like venation. After the plate is fired once, the leaf impression is colored with underglazes, and the surface of the plate is glazed with a translucent, food-safe glaze. The plate is then fired to over 2000 degrees F to ensure long-lasting strength and beauty.
This plate is made to order. Colors and leaves may be substituted upon request and availability. Please contact us for customization. (The Leaf Impression plate cannot be made during the winter months.)
Due to the handmade nature of the Leaf Impression Plate, colors and size will vary, adding character and interest to the final product. This plate has not been tested for dishwasher or microwave compatibility. Hand wash with mild detergent and warm water.
