Bring a bit of nature to your kitchen with this beautiful and unique leaf impression spoon rest. A real leaf is impressed into a clay slab, leaving a pattern of fine, fossil-like venation. The clay is then cut around the leaf design and hand-formed into a spoon rest. After the spoon rest is fired once, the leaf impression is colored with underglazes, and the surface is hand-glazed with a translucent, food-safe glaze. The spoon rest is then fired to over 2000 degrees F to ensure long-lasting strength and beauty.
Don’t need a spoon rest? The leaf can also be used as a ring or jewelry dish!
